SUMMERLAND. Completely charming and perennially popular, this small, beach-themed enterprise is a great equalizer, welcoming folks from all walks and of all inclinations. Proximity to the ocean is a nice draw, as is fabulous food, of which the menu offers plenty. A huge list of sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, and wraps can make choosing difficult, but locals swear by anything with roasted tri-tip steak. If you're around in the morning, breakfast sandwiches and burritos come stuffed with eggs, cheese, and meats and are ideal pick-me-ups.
